2022 Arctic Arts Summit Registration
Whitehorse, Yukon | June 27 to 29th, 2022
The third Arctic Arts Summit will bring together representatives of Arctic countries and the Indigenous Nations of the Circumpolar region. The Summit will feature keynotes, panel discussions, networking opportunities, workshops and performances. Participating countries and Indigenous nations will send official delegations to the Summit, each setting their own guidelines for participation. A variety of performances and presentations will also be open to the public.
Connecting participants across the North with a program focused on artist-driven exchanges and Indigenous voices.
Are you getting ready to attend the in-person 2022 Arctic Arts Summit? If so, take a moment to review the following:
Attendance as a delegate at the in-person Arctic Art Summit will be by invitation only, with each country and nation responsible for selecting their official delegation.
Participation as a presenter, artist or performer at the in-person Arctic Arts Summit is largely by invitation, selected by a programming work group made up of Arctic Arts Summit partners and curators, which includes local and circumpolar Indigenous peoples.
Note, however, that artists are invited to apply to participate in the 2022 Adäka Cultural Festival.
Some public events are being planned to take place around the in-person Summit. These will take place in Whitehorse, Yukon. More information will be shared soon.
While the Canada Council for the Arts and the Government of Yukon are the lead coordinators, many organizations and individuals are involved in making the 2022 Arctic Arts Summit a success.
