Torbjørn Urfjell (he/him, born 1977) is a department director with responsibility for following up the work on Sami art and culture in Arts Coucil Norway. He has backgroud from politics and administration in local, regional and national level in Norway including direcor og culture and citizen dialogue in the city of Kristiansand, direcor of the Norwegian Producers Association, and political adviser in the Ministry of forreign affairs.

Kaylyn Baker
Kaylyn Baker is Northern Tutchone and Tlingit woman from the Yukon. She beads and tufts earrings, pendants, chokers, bolo ties, cuffs, and more. Her creations use traditional techniques, but her colour and pattern choices are dizzyingly anti-conventional. Kaylyn is an avid beader, using a variety of materials and textiles, and drawing on the principals of visual art to create her own designs. In addition to making jewellery, Kaylyn’s beadwork adorns garments and accessories, including mukluks, moccasins, and purses. Beading allows Kaylyn to connect with her ancestors—her mother, grandmothers, and great grandmothers all beaded—as well as with her peers and her children. Beading is a form of storytelling, a way to pass along traditions and knowledge to future generations.
Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen
Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen (b. 1998) is a Sami artist from Tana, Norway. She is a musician and the front figure in the band ISÁK. In addition she is a writer and in 2021 she published a book based on her own history and reflecting upon her Sami identity. Ella Marie is a climate activist and uses traditional knowledge / indigenous knowledge throughout her artistic work.
