Bernt Bjørn Is a Norwegian-Sami actor, improviser and singer with nearly 40 years of experience from the stage, the big screen, and TV. The revitalization of Coast-Sami culture and self-representation has been pivotal to his work. He has a lot of experience when it comes to working with new scripts.
Bernt is chairman of the board of RadArt. He has played a central role in the establishment of several professional networks and cooperation projects across different disciplines and institutions, such as RadArt, Vårscenefest and Frilanskrets Nord (freelance circle north) in the Norwegian actors association. He was one of the founders of Northern Norway’s first fringe group, Totalteatret, in 1983.
